The Deaf Short Film Festival takes place every two years. The next Festival will be combined with the New Zealand Deaf Games, being held in January 2020, in Wellington! We will announce more details as information becomes available.

The main purpose of the New Zealand Deaf Short Film Festival is the short film competition.

Festival

The 2020 Festival will be different! This time we are excited to announce the 9th New Zealand Deaf Short Film Festival will be part of the New Zealand Deaf Games Social Programme, being held 4th – 8th January 2020. Why not make a trip to Wellington part of your Christmas and New Year holiday plans!
